What's talked about
The class consist of four sessions lasting 2 hours each and a separate meeting with the facilitator. The four sessions deal with the following topics:
- Building a Strong Foundation – Practical Side of Intimacy
- Financial Issues – Financial Intimacy
- Sexual Intimacy – Romantic Intimacy
- Communication/Conflict Resolution – Nuts and Bolts of Intimacy
A fifth session, when the facilitator meets with each couple from the class separately, involves interpreting and evaluating the two testing instruments that are utilized during the classes. This session also addresses any personal areas of concern that individual couples may have.

Other info
The class is required for any couple planning a wedding held at TRBC or to be conducted by a TRBC minister. After fulfilling all the requirements of the five sessions each couple will receive a notarized statement documenting successful completion of the pre-marriage class which will reduce the normal license fee required by the state of Tennessee.
There is a small fee involved. The Pre-Marriage Class fee covers the cost of testing instruments and materials.
